About Us

Welcome to St. Barnabas Parish! St. Barnabas is a vibrant Catholic community located on the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois, in the beautiful historic neighborhood of Beverly. Known as a faith community rooted in family and friendship, St. Barnabas parish has many ministries, including an elementary school from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade.

We are blessed by many who help us provide ministries that include Parish Life programs for socializing with fellow parishioners, Human Concerns programs for helping those in need and Education/Faith Formation programs for individuals seeking to deepen their knowledge and faith.  We are are thankful for our Administration committees who help shepherd our parish resources. Our Spiritual Life is enriched by many special mass celebrations, including our annual St. Patrick’s Day Family Mass and our annual Mother’s Day Mass prior to the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk. Frequently, our regular Sunday liturgies are followed by applause.
