Special Religious Education (SPRED)
Special Religious Education (SPRED) is a program specifically designed to meet the needs of persons with developmental challenges. At St. Barnabas, we welcome persons 17-21 years old and prepare them to participate in the liturgical life of our parish. Other parishes in our area welcome individuals of different age levels.
Our young adults are able to share in a community of faith and to celebrate the sacraments of Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation with SPRED friends and their families. Please call Mary Zeronas at 773-779-4790 or the rectory at 773-779-1166 for more information about SPRED for different age groups.
