SCHOOL BOARD

Purpose
St. Barnabas School Board is called into being by the local parish and given its mission to provide quality Catholic education for all those children in the parish whose parents desire to take advantage of such an opportunity.  The School Board in cooperation with the principal, as its executive officer, develops policies which give direction to the school and enables it to reach its agreed upon goals. The principal, with the professional staff of the school, develops administrative regulations for the implementation of school board policies. Members serve 3 year terms. To ensure gender balance, parishioners elect new members in a ratio opposite to those leaving office.
