St. Barnabas School Welcomes You

Happy 2018, St. Barnabas School community! We hope everyone had a relaxing, reflective and fun-filled break with family and friends.

Now that we’re back, it’s time to gear up for the busy winter and spring ahead of us. January 19 brings our Father/Daughter Dance, which our outstanding parent volunteers are busy preparing for. We will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in January and Black History Month in February. Students also have numerous field trips, celebrations and retreats coming up in the winter months.

We are busy preparing for Catholic Schools Week, including our Catholic Schools Week Family Mass on Sunday, February 4th at 10 am immediately followed by our Open House from 11 am - 12:30 pm. Catholic Schools Week also offers student and teacher appreciation days, a trivia night for parents, and the annual student vs. staff volleyball game. It’s a great way to celebrate all the things we are thankful for at St. Barnabas School.

Practice for our annual school play is starting, as we eagerly await the performance of “Oklahoma!” March 2-4.

We hope you stay warm this winter, and remember to keep in touch with us! Through our website, school newsletter and eblasts, we will keep you updated as we look forward to the many more events to come this year. We are excited to see our students continue to learn and grow academically, spiritually and socially as the 2017-2018 academic year moves forward.

It’s a great time to be a part of St. Barnabas School!

"Committed to Excellence in Education"

Dress down for Puerto Rico
In November, St. Barnabas joined other Southside Catholic Schools to raise money for relief efforts in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria with a $2 dress down day.  We are happy to report that St. Barnabas raised nearly $1000 for this great cause, joining the other participating schools in raising  $5350.59. Thanks again to all who donated!
