Sacramental Prep
Reconciliation and Eucharist (2026–2027)
Reconciliation is a sacrament of love and healing. The Eucharist is the “source and summit” of our Christian lives, understood as the pinnacle of Christian initiation. Walking the journey toward First Reconciliation and First Communion with our children is both an honor and a sacred responsibility. In this year, we focus on helping our children understand and embrace:
- God’s unconditional love and forgiveness
- The impact of our actions
- How to stay in a loving relationship with God and others
- How God nourishes us and welcomes us into the body of Christ through the gift of his very self
Note: Enrollment in St. Barnabas Catholic School or regular attendance in our Religious Education Program is required. There is a fee of $50 per child for Communion an $60 for Confirmation.
Confirmation Preparation (7th & 8th Grade, 2026-2027)
Confirmation is the sacrament that seals us with the gift of the Holy Spirit and strengthens us to live as disciples of Christ. Our program spans two years, beginning in 7th grade and culminating in 8th grade with the celebration of the sacrament.
Note: Enrollment in St. Barnabas Catholic School or regular attendance in our Religious Education Program is required. There is a fee of $60 per 8th grade student.
Confirmation date will be April 16, 2027.
